The Rupes Bigfoot (LHR15ES/DLX) random orbital polisher was designed with the detailing market in mind. It has an extra large 15mm orbit which allows the Rupes Bigfoot DA to work a larger area. This cuts the working time, whilst maintaining the flexibility to work around the contours of the vehicle. This compares to a standard DA polisher that generally has a 8mm orbit.

The Rupes LHR15ES uses a 5" backing plate that is designed to be used with 5.5" and 6" pads. These are the correct size for modern vehicles with curved panels and sharp body lines. One of the biggest advantages of the Rupes Bigfoot LHR 15ES is that no swirls or holograms (or buffer trails) are instilled into the paint as you polish
