Designed to imitate automotive plastic textured surfaces, such as plastic bumpers, trim strips, and various plastic parts, this 1K DTP Fine Texture Black Paint Aerosol from SprayMax is suitable for application onto EPDM, PVC, polycarbonate, and other plastics, but not recommended for use on polyethene (PE) surfaces. This paint exhibits excellent adhesion properties and can be applied directly on plastic surfaces without needing a plastic adhesion promoter.
One of the standout features of this aerosol paint is its user-friendly nature. It's quick-drying, with a dust-dry time of just 16 minutes, touch dry in approximately 30 minutes, and full cure in approximately 24 hours. This allows for the creation of various textures and structures, making it a versatile tool for automotive technicians, painters, or individuals involved in automotive surface refinishing.
Before application, it is important to sand surfaces if necessary and clean them thoroughly with an aqua silicone remover. The damaged area must also be dry and free of grease and dust, and any rust must be removed. When using the aerosol can, shake it for at least two minutes before spraying and ensure that you wear suitable protective gear. The recommended spraying distance from the surface is between 15 and 20cm.
