Zinc Phosphate Primer (Red Oxide) 2. 5 Litre- Red oxide primer is an anti-corrosion coating designed to stop rust formation. It can be applied directly over a rusty surface and is most ideal for exterior use.
Red oxide primer serves the same function as zinc oxide primer, but has a different chemical composition. It is highly regarded for its durability, and as the name implies, is red in color.
This is a High Build Zinc Phosphate paint that is actually a Primer and a Top Coat in one great for application on steel.

- Zinc Phosphate is great for anti corrosive properties.
- Designed to be applied over steel.
- If applying over galvanised or aluminium, then these will need etch priming in the usual way.
- Reliable ansd long wearing.
- Can be applied by brush or spray. If spraying,can be applied to 75 microns in one coat.
- Can be applied by Airless spray.
- Surface dry in approx 30 minutes.
- 5m2 per litre approx.
